The GCR Varsity Girls have had a busy break. On Friday, January 3rd the GCR Varsity girls made the hour and a half bus ride to GMU worth it with a 42-18 victory. Caitlyn Ciaravino led the team with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Jacey O’Donnell scored 10 points and had 8 rebounds. The girls next game is Wednesday, January 8th at Charlotte Valley. Keep working hard ladies and let’s get some more W’s! 

Congratulations to the varsity boys basketball team for their 49-39 victory over Laurens/Milford in the Pat Grasso Tournament at Laurens on Saturday, January 4th.

After being down by as many as 11 points in the second half, the team used pressure defense to finish the game on a 21-7 run.

The boys improved their overall record to 3-4 on the season. The team’s next game is against Jefferson/Stamford tomorrow night at Roxbury.
