The GCR modified boys basketball team put on an incredible show in their latest game. After trailing 11-18 at halftime, the team displayed an impressive comeback, demonstrating grit, teamwork, and determination. The game ultimately went into overtime, where we fell just short, losing by a single basket in a nail-biting finish.

Our scoring was well-distributed, showcasing the depth amongst the team. Preston Bruck led the way with 10 points, closely followed by William Proudman with 9. Chris Cox added 5 points, and Dylan Bohringer, Eric Hejnal, Kyle Speenburgh, and Devon Zambri each contributed 2 points each.

The next game is tomorrow in Davenport at 4:30 PM. Come show some support for our boys!

GCR JV boys hosted Jefferson/ Stamford for their first home game of the season. A solid performance by both teams led to a tightly contested match up but in the end our opponents came away with the win. Gabe Allen led GCR scoring with 14 points, Marek Voeks and Eric Pettersen contributed 8 and 7 respectively, all supported by a great team effort. Next match up is against Charlotte Valley Thursday.
