On Friday, April 11th, Mrs. Canterbury’s kindergarten class celebrated the completion of a Social Studies unit on Rural, Urban, and Suburban area with a Country/City Mouse day. The students dressed up as country or city mice, listened to a read aloud of “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, by Janet Stevens, and enjoyed country/city treats. During math, students predicted how many plastic eggs they could stack together using play doh and then put it to the test in a country egg stacking challenge. The students had a blast with all of the country/city fun! 💛📚🐾
😊Big thank you's to Ms. Proudman for making the ears for our
mice and Mrs. Rivenberg for painting our faces!🐭
