If you have a child who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2024, and live in the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District, they are eligible to be enrolled in our Universal Pre-Kindergarten program. Please contact the school at 607-588-7541 to receive registration papers or for information.

On Friday, April 19th, Dylan Canterbury will be coming in as a guest speaker for PARP to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month. He is a jazz trumpet player and professor at Saint Rose and SUNY Schenectady Community College. The presentation will be in the auditorium at 10:00 am for grades UPK-6 and will last approximately 30 minutes. He will be reading the book, Oscar Lives Next Door: A Story Inspired by Oscar Peterson's Childhood, which is about the famous jazz pianist, Oscar Peterson. After the read aloud, Mr. Canterbury will play his trumpet for the students. This will be a great event that will help students connect reading with music!

GCCS participated in the annual MURAL art exhibit in Hobart over the vacation. Several local schools were represented and Our school placed: Best in show: Olivia Allen, for her watercolor; 2nd place, Sean Martin, for jewelry, and 3rd place, Ariana Yepez, for her Drawing.
