About Us
The Gilboa-Conesville Central School District is a small, rural school located in the Northern Catskill Mountains. There are ~300 students in grades PK-12 housed in one building, and approximately 80 employees. A full range of support services is available in the school.
Noted for its scenic beauty and the plentiful hunting and fishing in the region, there are a number of cultural and sporting attractions that attract visitors to the Gilboa area. The Pratt Museum, Pratt Rock, Lansing Manor, New York State Power Authority Visitor Center, and Minekill State Park are all located within the school district. Windham Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Howe Caverns, Iroquois Indian Museum, Old Stone Fort, Olana, and Hanford Mills are all located relatively close by.
Our school community works together to create a safe and nurturing learning environment that accepts all students as individuals as they strive to achieve their personal potential as responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
