Resources in the school:

General education counseling is offered to students who may be struggling with different areas in their education and life.  The School Counselor will meet with students in grades K-12 to work on different areas including but not limited to adjusting to new changes in school and/or home, peer difficulties, coping with different situations, and/or any other concerns a parent or guardian may have. Home Run Program through Together for Youth offers a Family Specialist to work with students and their families on challenges the student is facing.  This program can help students and families with academic challenges, behavior challenges, increasing school involvement, reducing disciplinary issues, strengthening the school-family relationship, and supporting the family with any difficulties or challenges they may be facing.  To inquire about this program, please contact Dawn Bialkowski, School Counselor, at 607-588-7541 ext. 1027 or dbialkowski@gccs.us.

 

School Based Mental Health Clinical Services is offered through Schoharie County Mental Health Clinic.  A therapist from the Mental Health Clinic comes to the school twice a week to work with students.  For more information, please contact Dawn Bialkowski, School Counselor, at 607-588-7541 ext. 1027 or dbialkowski@gccs.us or call the Schoharie County Mental Health Clinic directly at 518-295-8336.  If you call the clinic, please be sure to let them know your child attends Gilboa-Conesville School.
