Congratulations to the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District's FCCLA for their success at the 2025 NYS FCCLA Leadership Conference! As NYS FCCLA President, Olivia Ross and her council planned an exciting state conference for over 200 students with the theme Finding "U" in Success. Gilboa alumnus, Laura Potter, also hosted two workshop sessions titled The Mind-Body Connection: Tools for Managing Stress where she taught students about some of her favorite self-care practices.
Ariah Cruz presented her project in Career Investigation and earned a silver medal. Bray Shultes, a Junior Leader, presented her Focus on Children project about lowering screen time for children and earned a gold medal. Abigail Woodcock and Ariana Yepez also presented in the Focus on Children category about their project to promote kindness and earned gold medals. All four of these students were selected to represent NYS FCCLA at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer.
