GCCS is proud to celebrate senior Brandan Buel, an EOR student at NCOC, who recently completed his internship with Shaver Hill Farms! During his time there, Brandan gained hands-on experience at every stage of maple syrup production — running the production lines, collecting sap, boiling, filtering, finishing, and bottling. And here's what makes this internship even more special: Brandan already runs his own small maple syrup business! This internship gave him the chance to learn from some of the best in the industry and sharpen skills he's already putting to work. Opportunities like this are what real-world education looks like — meaningful mentorship, industry experience, and personal growth all rolled into one. Congratulations Brandan!
