Abigail Woodcock, a 10th grade Art student created and submitted a colored pencil rendition of “a trout’s journey” to the Dept. of Environmental Protection Watershed Art and Poetry Contest. 1,400 students statewide had entered the contest, and Abigail is one of 19 in her age group of 10th -12th grade students that had won. Her 1st place award will be given at a Banquet in the Bronx at the Botanical Gardens on Thursday April 30th. Abigail is dedicated to her pursuit to learn and create art and is currently working on the college level as a Sophomore in High school. Congratulations to Abigail!
